Since buying our 1985 Jayco Jaylark pop-top camper, I have been eyeing off a whole heap of cool caravans, and DIY restorations. I am loving how something as simple as new curtains and cushion covers, or a coat of paint, can change the whole look and feel of a van. I SO want to give Coco (our camper haha) a makeover. Here are some that I love xx

This one is most relevant to me as it is a pop-top caper similar to ours xx

Excitement is building around here about my 30th Birthday. My party is now only 2 weeks away, and I have been busily sourcing recipes, servingware, and decorations to make the party as beautiful as I can. For those who may not know, I am celebrating in style, hosting a High Tea for between 30-35 people at my sister’s house.
I have previously blogged about the invitations I made,  and I recently shared photos of my gorgeous collection of crystal, china, and silverware on my Facebook page. The response was amazing, so I thought I would also share here.

This collection is a combination of new, second-hand, vintage, and borrowed pieces, some of which belonged to some special ladies such as my Great-grandmother, a Great Aunt, and hubby’s Grandma and Nanna.

Enjoy xx

Winter has arrived. It is cold, and windy, and perfect scarf weather……now only if I could get the ‘look’ right!
I do like wearing scarves, but I must admit, I am not very creative when it comes to ways of wearing them. Some people seem to make them look so funky/cool and stylish. I want to look funky in a scarf…not frumpy!!!

This is how I am wearing my scarf today……but it keeps coming undone, and then just looks a bit odd. I think I need to get a cool shawl pin or something for it.

I have grand plans to knit myself a few scarves and shawls this winter ( need to get a move on!!), so I went searching for some inspiration on how to wear them. I hopw these help some others also.

Q is for Quirky.

I love quirky little details in rooms, quirky jewellery, and and quirky art etc. Just stuff that is a little different to the everyday, and adds a real touch of personality or individuality.

I is for Inspiration.

Inspiration can be anything: words; images; colour; sound; fashion; crafts; weight loss etc. It is different for every person, and every situation. Hopefully there is something here that will inspire you.

(so late with this post- ooops!)

H is for Handmade.

I LOVE  just about anything Handmade/DIY. There is usually a lot of time, effort, and love put into handmade items, and they make fantastic gifts. Handmade items can also add just a touch of flair to a space, introducing elements of your own style and personality.

“A” is for April Fools….

But seriously, today is day one of the challenge. SO excited. Basically, for those who will be following along, I will be using the A-Z challenge to blog “Things I love”. I hope you all enjoy

But “A” is also for “Aqua”, one of my favourite colours in the whole wide world. I love any variation of blue actually, but I love the freshness of Aqua. t can take me to so many places. Here is some Aqua Inspiration.
