V is for Van Gogh. Throughout High School when I was doing art, Van Gogh was SUCH a major inspiration for me. The use of colour, and the movement created with each stroke of the brush just captivated me. If a Van Gogh plate turned up in an exam paper, I was always super excited as I found his paintings so thrilling, and easy to analyse. I remember writing a 6 page essay on how Van Gogh’s art made me feel, and about the impact of his technique. LOVE

U is for Unique. I love things that a little different, a little uncommon.

This is a necklace that a lovely couple stamped for me. I LOVE it.

R is for Rainbow. Rainbows seem to be popular in our house, so much so that we will be hosting a Rainbow High Tea in just over a week for our 2nd daughter’s 5th birthday. I made  Rainbow invitations for her to hand out for her friends, and have collected LOTS of other Rainbow ideas from Pinterest. No doubt there will be a post about the party in a bit over a week 🙂

Here are a couple of food and decoration ideas that I will be using
